No one in cong...Another case of NYT misinformation. No one in congress is blocking the extension outright. There is simply one group, republicans, that are asking to apply double entry accounting. That is, if one needs to credit the unemployment fund a couple more billion, then where does one apply the debit? Let's decide what we won't fund so that we can pay for this. The democrats and NYT basically want to say f*** the debit, single entry accounting is much easier for us. <br /><br />This was what Bunning was saying earlier this year. But listening to the media you'd have thought he was Lucifer himself, stealing from the unemployed. <br /><br />Personally, if you have not found a job after two years, you ain't going to.
