I never watch the Academy awards. None the less, there are certain trends that improve your chances of getting an Oscar 1) play a biographical role. 2) play a role of a gay person. If you perform a biographical gay character ie Truman Capote, it's a slam dunk.
So if there are any of those people in the field, go bet the house.
