A great day of college football

Today is a great day of college football.
Not really, but it would be if we had a playoff.
The way I see it. today would be a playoff amongst all D-1 conference winners and 5 at large teams. This writer already put together the brackets which is exactly how I would set it up.
I would locate the games at traditional bowl sites. In this case, we could have Alabama-Troy at the GMAC bowl in Mobile, The Boise St. game at the Humanitarian Bowl, and of course my Bearcats playing in the Gaylords Hotel Bowl in Nashville.
Of course, there still not enough playoff games to satisfy the 30 plus bowls played in a given year. So to appease those bowls, they can invite those schools not in the playoff to their game; call it the football version of the NIT.
You can't tell me that the Little Caesars Bowl would rather have Michigan State - Oklahome State over, say Ohio U v. Marshall.
Of course, this all makes too much sense, which is probably why it could never happen.
Instead, college football fans get a taste of Army-Navy and football coaches leaving their schools for others before the season's even over.
