Obama "not concerned" about double-dip recession
What do you call a 2011 college graduate?
It seems only fitting that the dumb asses who supported this clown bear the brunt of his policies.
At least they're not leaving all together
A survey of 1,300 employers finds that 30 percent will “definitely or probably” stop offering health insurance to their employees due to new requirements imposed by the Obamacare health reform law.The survey, conducted by business journal McKinsey Quarterly, found that contrary to government estimates a large percentage of employers will drop their employee health plans, forcing employees to buy coverage on the government-mandated insurance exchanges.
“Overall, 30 percent of employers will definitely or probably stop offering ESI [Employer Sponsored Insurance] in the years after 2014,” the study found.
In fact, among companies who are most familiar with the laws mandates and regulations, 60 percent would drop employee health plans because of the law.
I just wonder how many companies will move their operations out of the country so they don't have to deal with any of this.

Kiss it Goodbye
A Latino gang conspired to rid a Southern California city of blacks through intimidation, threats and violence dating back to the early 1990s, according to a federal indictment unsealed Tuesday.More than 50 people were charged as authorities made early morning raids targeting the Azusa 13 gang.
Federal prosecutors said the gang engaged in a host of crimes ranging from drug trafficking to hate crimes that have hobbled Azusa, a city of about 45,000 residents near Los Angeles.
Question of the day
GAOP (Generally Accepted Obama Principles)
With some of the economic indicators looking a bit dicey, President Obama traveled to Ohio last week to tout what the administration considers a good-news story: the rescue of the domestic automobile industry. In fact, he also made it the subject of his weekly radio
address.
We take no view on whether the administration’s efforts on behalf of the automobile industry were a good or bad thing; that’s a matter for the editorial pages and eventually the historians.
But we are interested in the facts the president cited to make his case.
What we found is one of the most misleading collections of assertions we have seen in a short presidential speech. Virtually every claim by the president regarding the auto industry needs an asterisk, just like the fine print in that too-good-to-be-true car loan.
Let’s look at the claims in the order in which the president said them.
“Chrysler has repaid every dime and more of what it owes American taxpayers for their support during my presidency — and it repaid that money six years ahead of schedule. And this week, we reached a deal to sell our remaining stake. That means soon, Chrysler will be 100 percent in private hands.”
Wow, “every dime and more” sounds like such a bargain. Not only did Chrysler pay back the loan, with interest — but the company paid back even more than they owed. Not so fast. The president snuck in the
weasel words “during my presidency” in his statement. What does that
mean?
According to the White House, Obama is counting only the $8.5 billion loan that he made to Chrysler, not the $4 billion that President George W. Bush extended in his last month in office. However, Obama was not a disinterested observer at the time. According to The Washington Post
article on the Bush loan, the incoming president called Bush’s action a “necessary step . . . to help avoid a collapse of our auto industry that would have had devastating consequences for our economy and our workers.”

Of course it's popular
Paraphrasing Springer, many of the programs that are so popular today were programs liberals championed and conservatives resisted. Well, just look and Social Security and Medicare.
Clue phone to liberals lots of programs are popular when people get more than they kicked in. The only problem is that they are unsustainable........
The federal government's financial condition deteriorated rapidly last year, far beyond the $1.5 trillion in new debt taken on to finance the budget deficit, a USA TODAY analysis shows.
The government added $5.3 trillion in new financial obligations in 2010, largely for retirement programs such as Medicare and Social Security. That brings to a record $61.6 trillion the total of financial
promises not paid for.
Now look at the mess we have when the people who have been footing the bill for past recipients get nothing. Just how popular will that program be Jerry?

What the hell does that mean?
By now it looks like Weiner is copping to his weiner's actions with this pithy statement..........
"I deeply regret what I have done and I am not resigning. I have made it clear I am accepting responsibility for this."
What the hell does "accepting responsibility" mean to these clowns?
John Edwards dropped the same line last week when addressing the payments to his slut. Janet Reno "accepted responsibility" for torching 250+ Branch Davidians.
I can't help but think back in time when I would break a neighbor's window throwing a baseball. I should have dropped the line, "I'm not paying for the window but I want to be clear that I'm accepting responsibility for my actions." I'm guessing that my parents would have had a different meaning to the terms right up to the point that I received an ass kicking.
See in my caveman mind "accepting responsibility" means manning up and dealing with the consequences. What consequences have any of these people suffered from their "acceptance of responsibility".
Even more. When will a media member have the balls to ask the question "What does accepting responsibility actually mean to you?"
The crap that Wiener did was not earth shattering but this guy is 48 freakin' years old. He's actually acting like a teenager. If you are one of his supporters, don't you think he lacks the maturity to be one of 435 person responsible for the country's direction?
But then again, he's accepting responsibility.
See you at the office tomorrow Anthony .
Who did they vote for? #41999

Murder charges have been filed against the woman accused of beating her son for hours on end for taking her percocet pills.29-year-old Tasha Parsons was charged Monday by the Decatur County Prosecutor's Office. 30-year-old Waldo Jones, a man who had been living with Parsons and her children for nearly 12 months, was charged with neglect of a dependant causing death.
According to police, the beating took place the afternoon of June 3rd. Investigators say Devin Parsons was beaten by his mother using her hands, feet, a belt, and a metal tray.
But wait. Like most of these babes, there's a boyfriend (not baby daddy) involved. Meet Waldo.........

Now in the 2008 election, did these two brain surgeons vote for Obama or McCain?
Shields and Brooks on Jobless Rate
Poor David Brooks. Choosing a presidential based on the crease in his trousers just wasn't the litmus test he thought it was.
Let me ask this question. I think we can all agree with the basic supply demand curve; When prices go up demand goes down and vice versa.
For instance, increase taxes on cigarettes people smoke less. Increase taxes on gasoline, people drive less.
Then riddle me this Batman, what would you expect to happen to the demand for labor when you increase the costs of such?
Hint..... companies won't hire more people.
Defending the indefensible
As part of my employment, I was required to pass a drug screening.
Now, in my mind, if I have to pass a drug test to load hot dogs on a shelf, I don't think it's asking too much for a welfare recipient to pass a drug screen for the benefits that working stiff is paying for.
But apparently, that's too much to ask someone on the dole............
Florida Gov. Rick Scott on Sunday defended recent legislation that requires adults applying for welfare assistance to undergo drug screenings, saying the law provides "personal accountability.""It's not right for taxpayer money to be paying for somebody's drug addiction," Scott told CNN's T.J. Holmes on Sunday. "On top of that, this is going to increase personal responsibility, personal accountability. We shouldn't be subsidizing people's addiction."
But the ACLU of Florida, which has already filed suit against Scott over a measure requiring government employees to undergo random drug testing, disagrees, and may sue over the welfare law as well.
"What (Scott) is doing is giving ugly legitimacy to an unfortunate stereotype that has been in this country for a couple of decades -- that all welfare recipients are a bunch of drug abusers," said Howard Simon, executive director of the ACLU of Florida.
Scott told CNN he wants to ensure that welfare funds go to their primary target -- to disadvantaged children -- and provide people with an incentive not to use drugs. He signed the measure on June 1, calling it "the right thing for taxpayers."
Under the law, which takes effect on July 1, the Florida Department of Children and Family Services will be required to conduct the drug tests on adults applying to the federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program. The aid recipients would be responsible for the cost of the screening, which they would recoup in their assistance if they qualify.

Why Weiner's weiner matters
I’m sure Weiner cares, and I’m sure his wife cares. But the only thing that is of moderate interest to me is the fact that a significant portion of the right side of the blogosphere is so firmly convinced that Weiner (a man of the liberal persuasion) is at fault here that almost no amount of proof could convince them otherwise. And I am just as firmly convinced that, if the parties were reversed, it would be the left side of the blogosphere doing the same thing, and that it would be an even bigger story in the MSM.
And I’m also moderately certain that part of the attraction to the story is the Congressman’s last name, plus the fact that the whole thing occurred on Twitter, a word that seems to bring to mind a combination of “titter,” “twit,” and “titillate.”
I am also aware that politicians are unusually susceptible to the seductions of seduction coupled with power. But I have come to the point of not caring, unless (and the following list is not necessarily all-inclusive, but it’s all I can think of at the moment) (a) the act involved is with an employee and constitutes some sort of abuse of power; and/or (b) it is accompanied by coercion or violence, as with the allegations about Strauss-Kahn (remember him?); and/or (c) the recipient of the attentions is underage; and/or (d) the perpetrator is a crusader against the acts in question (especially if such acts are illegal), such as Eliot Spitzer using call girls.
If you read this blog enough you know that I am a big proponent of don't ask, don't tell. Frankly, I don't want to know who Meredith Baxter, Bob Dole, Hugh Hefner, Rosie O'Donnell, Kevin Spacey, Ricky Martin, Lady Gay Gay or anyone else is having sex with. Actually, the whole thought of most people having sex with anyone makes me want to jab a red hot poker into my brain.
But if you read this blog, you also know that I have a theory that with politicians it's not the things they tell you that empowers them but the things they won't. Barney Frank is gay. Has that stopped him from being elected? But when Larry "give me three taps" Craig is trolling department store bathroom stalls, he loses his job. Why? Because if you are so ashamed of your sexual conduct that you will do whatever it takes to protect it's privacy, you are now the target of extortion and blackmail in public office.
What if a lobbyist has pictures of Weiner's weiner in a compromising position and he is willing to be blackmailed into supporting their agenda to keep his wife from finding out?
That's why it matters.
Trust me, I don't seek out pictures of some guy's junk for shits and giggles. But just watch Weiner wiggle and tell me what he will or won't do to protect his sexual proclivities from being exposed?
Plus the whole name thing makes it too funny.
Animal Farm
Limousines, the very symbol of wealth and excess, are usually the domain of corporate executives and the rich. But the number of limos owned by Uncle Sam increased by 73 percent during the first two years of the Obama administration, according to an analysis of records by iWatch News.
Most of the increase was recorded in Hillary Clinton’s State Department.
Obama administration officials said most of the increase reflects an enhanced effort to protect diplomats and other government officials in a dangerous world. But a watchdog group says the abundance of limos sends the wrong message in the midst of a budget crisis. The increase in limos comes to light on the heels of an executive order from President Obama last week that charges agencies to increase the fuel efficiency of their fleets.
Passengers calls are for the little people.
