The Boss is owning up to a mistake. In an interview with Sunday's New York Times, Bruce Springsteen says he shouldn't have made a deal with Wal-Mart. This month, the store started exclusively selling a Springsteen greatest hits CD.Some fans were critical because Springsteen has been a longtime supporter of worker's rights, and Wal-Mart has faced criticism for its labor practices.
Springsteen told the Times that his team didn't vet the issue as closely as he should have, and that he "dropped the ball on it."
You mean to tell me your team didn't know how liberal you are and, as a liberal, you probably despise Walmart? Bruce you either have a absolutely clueless team or you are lying.
I'll tell you what Bruce, I'm going to support your cause. I've heard the CD and I promise not to put money in Walmart's pockets by buying it.

Instead of pulling his records, Bruce could do a huge public service message reminding people that there is no law forcing people to work at any employer, including Walmart.
Now, that may change if we continue on the path toward socialism. I wonder why Bruce didn't just do the socialist thing and GIVE his product to the government to sell to help fund the stimulus. That would probably be enough to keep GM and Bruce's beloved UAW for a day or two.
I guess it didn't occur to Bruce to make a personal sacrifice. That's for us little people.
