We have major unemployment in that sector of the economy that hires high school educated and blue collar workers. This is critical, critical, because when that sector is working America is pretty damn powerful. But when that sector is idle, the workforce is weak. It's also Obama's most important base.
That's what blows me away. Obama has made the businesses that hire these businesses public enemy number 1. But the businessmen did not get to their positions through stupidity. They will make their business work one way or another. And every day more decide that the further they are from Obama the better. India, China and Mexico look real good.
Inside this country, Obama has basically rolled out the red carpet for illegal foreign workers willing to skirt union standards and compete with Americans bound by overreachling labor regulations.

Why the Obama base support him is beyond me.
