I was listening to a talk show the other day and the host was asking the question, are these last four guys remaining the best we can do?
The answer is yes.
If you are a conservative, you are bound to be disappointed.
Let's face it. If you are a true conservative, you don't believe that government works. So why would anyone pursue a job in an institution they don't believe in?
Conservatives are drawn to careers that matter (which by the way tends to make the most money). In a parallel to the old adage ............"Those who can do. Those who can't run a government".
So we're left with a group who have significant flaws.
If you've been wondering why I haven't posted in a few days it's because the coalition of Romney, Gingrich, Paul and Santorum = four more years of Obama. To say I've been depressed about the our future government would be an understatement.
So I'll try and get back in the fight and advancing the cause of conservatism even though we don't have the candidate who can do it.

I agree. The republican candidates buy into the bullshit that government is good. Their pitch is that we can't spend as much on "good" as the democrats, which is a losing argument.
We conservatives are the one's who have it right. That government is a giant craphole and that money flushed down the craphole is wasted where it could have been allocated in the free market to successful allocation for a strong economy.
We have no advocate.
The only thing I have enjoyed this cycle it watching John King try to lay a turd at Gingrich's feet only to have Newt shove it right back down King's pompous, condescending, gaping mouth. No one could be more deserving.
