Jenny McCarthy and others who advocated this belief have been besieged by a public relations campaign sponsored by the CDC discrediting this belief.
Nevermind, that the CDC cannot tells us what is causing this increase of children on the spectrum. But they know for sure that McCarthy and her ilk are nutty. Just ask the totally unbiased studies commissioned by the CDC for proof.
Oh..... it turns out that these studies are totally bogus...........
A CDC senior epidemiologist stepped forward last week to say that he and his CDC colleagues omitted data that linked MMR vaccine to autism in a 2004 study. The scientist, William Thompson, said “I regret that my coauthors and I omitted statistically significant information.”
Sharryl Attkisson, maybe the only journalist to question the authorities, is tracking this.
What is phenomenal is that Attkisson, actually posed a question to the CDC that they never even considered. Are Amish Children seeing the same increases of Autism seen in the general population?
They've never done any study or questionnaires on the subject.
Seriously!
I'm just guessing but I think maybe they are afraid of what they might find.
