So let me make sure I've got this right.
We don't want to disenfranchise the voters of Florida and Michigan but we're only going to count one half of the delegates from those particular states. Huh?
This is the worst kind of cop out around. Either you follow the rules and deal out the penalty that comes with breaking the rules or you allow all of the delegates.
So like the constitution where slaves counted as 3/5ths of a person, the democrats determined that a person who legitimately in Florida and Michigan is only 1/2 of a citizen simply for living in that state!!!!!!

If you ever wondered why "progressives" can't be trusted to run public institutions you need look no further than this debacle. Break the rules. No problem, we're going to bend the rules to get the outcome we want.
In this case, an affirmative action candidate.
