Get used to 10% unemployment

I spent the day at an employment seminar where we went over such great topics as health care and employment law.

After being at this presentation, there's little doubt in my mind as to why the employment numbers have remained week for such a long period of time.

Currently, employers are either in a wait and see mode or they are moving their employment out of the country. Why?

Because employers see the hand writing on the wall and see increased real and residual costs associated with American employees.

These costs are coming from cap and trade, the Ledbetter fair pay act, card check, increased minimum wage laws and an uncertain health insurance future.

Imagine you are a business who could set up a customer service center in Minneapolis or Mumbai India. Given the restriants noted above, why would you open the center in Minneapolis?

Is going to be a tough couple of years for the American working class.
