If I were to ask you. What is the "bluest" city in the state of Ohio? Your answer would be.....
Cleveland?
Youngstown?
Lorain?
Toledo?
Canton?
Dayton?
Well now, all you really need to ask is this. What city has the highest unemployment rate in Ohio and you'll probably get the same answer.
Cleveland - 10.1%
Youngstown - 8.6%
Lorain - 9.3%
Toledo - 8.5%
Canton - 8.1%
Dayton - 8.4%
You'd be hard pressed to find a republican in these cities with a search warrant and Homeland Security.
But of course, as one of the comments (in a previous post) pointed out, "the cities have the symphony". Well, I guess when you don't have a job, there's lot's of time for the symphony.
What's so "progressive" about unemployment?
