Progress City v. Redville
Once again, it appears that we need to go through this exercise again.
Here is the 2004 election red/blue map broken down by county. As you can see, the areas broken down less by state and more by urban areas v. suburban/rural.
This is what we know about these areas. The blue areas have things like high unemployment, large amounts of crime, homelessness, horrible schools, high taxes.
The suburbs have things like better schools, low unemployment, lower taxes and lower crime.
I get lots of "progressives" telling me about all these "amenities" offered by urban life. But the truth is indisputable and no "progressive" will debate on this fact. If urban life is so damn wonderful, why are so many people leaving so they can live in "Redville"?
