It's always important to let the world know that even though you are on trial for murder, you still support The Messiah for president.

Today The Times' eagle-eyed Harriet Ryan spotted Phil Spector, the famous rock entrepreneur and infamous date, showing up for a court hearing in Los Angeles wearing a very obvious "Barack Obama Rocks" pin.
Spector, you may recall, has some continuing legal troubles having to do with an actress, Lana Clarkson, turning up dead in his house after a date five years ago.
Seriously, if you are an Obama supporter, do you ever look around and see all the goof balls and crack pots who support The Messiah and wonder why?
That's what I thought.

Yes, his base of support is very impressive: Ludacris, Rev Wright, William Ayers, and a whole assortment of criminals and loons. Oh, and an ex-Veep who is hellbent on saving us from ourselves under the guise of global warming--the newest religion. Wonderful.
Don't forget Meadows, Matthews, Olberman, et al.
I get all tingly thinking about him.
