For my New Year's resolution/new things to try, I started my quest to avoid eating processed food; especially avoiding enriched bleach flour, transfats, deep fried, and high fructose corn syrup.
I did a pretty good job outside of eating a sandwich bun when I really didn't have other options and putting down some liquid bread (aka beer) during the UC Sugar Bowl beat down.
The only barometer I have right now is my weight, which did drop 4 lbs for the week.
My main goal is get my blood pressure and cholesterol down so I assume that will come with the weight loss.
Back to my meal of almonds and milk.
