Nope. There's nothing centrist about him. He's a lefty through and through. But I don't see all the hubub either. He's an entertainer that is a lib. Just like a thousand others like him. He gets away with calling himself a centrist because he hides behind his humor while attacking the right. I think we are used to it. I do think it softens up the minds on the left. The "Stewart/Colbert" wing of the dem party is growing and they are being drawn into this assumption that the problems of the world can be condensed into a bad joke.
