This is good judgment?

So you're looking to turn around the economy.

Maybe the best move is to select the worst governor in the US to be on your economic team.
Gov. Jennifer Granholm was named to President-elect Barack Obama's transition team on the economy Thursday, and will meet with him and 16 other advisers today in Chicago.

Granholm's appointment to the panel -- former Macomb County Congressman David Bonior also is on the committee -- comes on the heels of the dual roles she played in the late stages of the Obama-Biden campaign. She was a stand-in for Sarah Palin when Joe Biden was practicing for the vice-presidential debate, and was tapped by Obama as a traveling advocate for alternative energy.

Other members of the blue-ribbon economic advisory committee include billionaire Warren Buffett, former U.S. Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin, Google CEO Eric Schmidt and former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker.
