Comparison of experience

Gerald Baker with a thorough comparison of "experience" between Pail and Obamamania...

Political experience

Obama: Worked his way to the top by cultivating, pandering to and stroking the most powerful interest groups in the all-pervasive Chicago political machine, ensuring his views were aligned with the power brokers there.

Palin: Worked her way to the top by challenging, attacking and actively undermining the Republican party establishment in her native Alaska. She ran against incumbent Republicans as a candidate willing and able to clean the Augean Stables of her state's government.

You know, one reason I love the Palin choice is that you know where she stands based on her actions while Obama waffles on about lofty goals while having nothing to back them up.

2nd Amendment
Palin = Huntress
Obama - Waffling on about keeping and getting rid of gun laws in 2 different speeches. We've yet to have the photo op with Obama in hunting gear.

Abortion
Palin - 5 kids, one with Downs Syndrome.
Obama - It's above his pay grade.

Energy
Palin - great ties with ALaskan oil producers including taxing them (something I am partially in favour of depending on circumstances such as letting them drill in the first place!).

Obama - No Drilling, more taxes, and we'll have alternate fuels in 10 years (yeah, 2 years after you would leave office at the latest). No idea what those alternate fuels are. That's for someone else to do.

Producing Change
Palin - Is a proven reformer even taking on her own party.

Obama - nothing, chose a 35 year senator to bring about 'Change'. So far attempting to cover up his ties with Bill Ayers, and hasn't said anything about the dodgy contributions he's been receiving from overseas.

experience
Palin - Governor and Mayor, over 15 years experience.

Obama - 2 year senator, and when asked about it this morning, offered running his campaign as the only experience to counteract Palins.

Obama was having trouble proving he's experienced enough to be President nevermind whether he's more experienced than McCain. Now he's having problems proving he's more experienced than the VP.

Obama and Co will go to great lengths to fight out the experience issue with Palin that they will be worn out and look foolish when the McCain Obama comparisons start.
