Tom over at bizzyblog has a great round up of unemployment numbers by metro areas; especially those in Ohio and Michigan.
Question for you progressives? How is it that unemployment in red areas is somewhat moderate yet in nearly every area that's "blue" has extraordinarily high unemployment? Does this just happen to be a coincidence? Is it a targeted unemployment conspiracy perpetrated by Bushies? Maybe just maybe it's a fact that democratic policies make it very unattractive for businesses to locate there?
Seriously, if you wanted to drop say, a billion dollars in a manufacturing plant would you build it in Flint MI (unemployment rate of 12.3%)? Or might you drop it in a state that's actually business friendly?
How is it that all the areas where democrats rule are havens for unemployment?
What's so "progressive" about not having a job?
