So congress wants congressional oversight on the firms being bailed out of the sub prime mortgage mess?
Is this the same oversight which has resulted in a combined 40 TRILLION dollar unfunded liability in the social security and medicare trust funds? The size of 6000 Enron's
Maybe the same oversight which resulted in a 400 billion dollar bailout of Fannie and Freddie? The size of 20 Enron's.
Excuse me if I'm skeptical.
