Here's a Detroit City council meeting.Do you think there's a republican in the house?
Hey, you can't sing that religious song in a government meeting! I suppose next they are going to get Good Friday off. Where is the ACLU? Oh, looking the other way I guess. It is Detriot (yes spelt wrong on purpose).
The phrase, "Nero fiddled while Rome burned", comes to mind.
Arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic also come to mind.
