Apparently, he's already tired....
Barack Obama's offhand approach to Gordon Brown's Washington visit last week came about because the president was facing exhaustion over America's economic crisis and is unable to focus on foreign affairs, the Sunday Telegraph has been told.
Sources close to the White House say Mr Obama and his staff have been "overwhelmed" by the economic meltdown and have voiced concerns that the new president is not getting enough rest.
He's still got enough time to hang out with Stevie Wonder and play ball. Are you kidding me?
Yeah, this is what happens when you take a real job with responsibilities. Guess what, he's got another four more years where he may have to sacrifice a basketball game or two.

The CD gift was about as low class as one can get. My 12 year old nephew would be disappointed if he got that for Christmas. I heard some pro-Obama journalist defend this with some statement like "What have the British done for us lately anyway?" How embarassing for America for this to be the brits first experience with the new president.
How can Obama claim exhaustion anyway? This is stuff that should be handled by his staff. You would think his community organizing skills would really shine here.
When Ahmadinejad comes into town, we will probably walk a red carpet made with shredded bibles, give him a 400 year old Koran from the national archives. Any CD's we give him will contain plans on how to build ballistic missiles capable of hitting the US from Iran.
Change we can believe in.
I guess if McCaim had been elected he would be dead from the exhaustion by now. It never dawned on me how tiring "change" is.
