Ripping off the poor is OK

I've taken a few swipes at my normally sensible conservative blogger brethren for their position on pay day loan operations.

My beef has always been this. The lottery steals more money from poor families than pay day lending operations could only dream of, yet everyone wants to give the state a pass.

The message.... It's OK to steal from the poor as long as you use it for the "public good".

Well, The Guv has decided that he needs to steal more money from the poor by adding additional lottery games.

I say let's expand the pay day lending business. We'll squeeze a few more bucks out of those poor areas and we'll all be fat and happy.
