The difference between the Maverick and The Messiah

Probably nothing speaks to the differences between McCain and Obama better than this passage...
McCain believes in protecting and defending America as it is. Obama tells the world he is ashamed of America and wants to change it into something else. McCain stands for American exceptionalism, the belief that American values are superior to tyrannies. Obama stands for the expiation of America’s original sin in oppressing black people, the third world and the poor.

I 100 percent agree. Problem is that no matter who gets elected, they will continue the same outrageous fiscal path that the government is on. The US federal government is now a steam train out of control with debt annuities that we will never be able to repay. Our politicians have promised us entitlements that our great-great-grandchildren will be paying for long after we are dead. The first payment came due this past month.

This fiscal crisis we are in is the manifestation of that problem. Obama will fail to live up to the hope the media has created but but McCain can do nothing but deliver on the failure the media has promised for his presidency. Both are bound by the sins of their respective parties. Yes, republicans too. There are very few conservative republicanas left. America has been set up to fail by a lack of vigilence in the media and government.

Only after the government completely collapses financially can we begin to rebuild. I can think of no better or fitting party to be in power when that happens than the democrats. And I can think of no better philosophy for the recovery than conservatism with emphasis on libetarianism. Not sure if republicans should be allowed to have a role going forward. They have completely failed their base.
