More life in "Progress" city

From the Queen city of Cincinnati, who hasn't had a republican run the city since it changed it's name from Losantiville.....
Cincinnati police are putting criminals on notice: crime fighting 2010 style has arrived in the form of video cameras in the Downtown business district and high-crime areas in other neighborhoods.

That video can be reviewed later during an investigation or even watched in real time if needed.

The first eight cameras are being installed Downtown now, to be followed by six cameras early next year in the Clifton area and another dozen along Glenway Avenue from East Price Hill into Westwood by the summer.

Out here in "Redville" we just wait for the meth house to explode, no cameras needed.

What's so "progressive" about 24/7 surveillance?
