A Hamilton County sheriff's deputy serving an eviction this morning ended up being first on the scene for a drive-by shooting.
Around 8:30 a.m., the deputy heard three shots fired near his location on the 1800 block of Race Street. He immediately called in on his radio a shots fired run.
Near the front of the building, the deputy found a man shot in the leg and called for assistance.
According to Cincinnati Police, a woman in a dark Oldsmobile fired the shots from her car hitting the victim twice in the legs.
Wow, an eviction and a drive by all in one trip. Now that's "progressive"!
