Liberals have no grip on reality

So you're on the verge of bankruptcy, you have delinquent real estate taxes, and your roof is starting to leak during heavy rains.

Do you.....

1) Hunker down to find the money to fix the roof or
2) Take a nice trip to the Cayman islands?

That's how the liberals in our state have approached the need for passenger rail in our cities and states.

Just yesterday, the Enquirer did a piece on the coming tab due on our city employee pensions. Not to be deterred, the city is still looking to drop a few bucks ($64 million initially) on a trolley system that will do nothing but transport criminals from down town to the University of Cincinnati.

But hey, for what it's worth the state of Ohio is also flush with cash (if you budget like a drunken sailor with a new credit card). Enough so they have the ability to build the world largest erector set rail line that turns a four and half hour drive from Cincinnati to Cleveland into a 6 and half hour train ride to the empty center cities.

Are these people totally insane?

I've frequently ask the question as to whether liberals are ignorant or purposely trying to ruin this country. But I do think we have to add criminally insane to the choice list.

Seriously, have these people read a newspaper in the past two years?

These folks fascination with their real life Thomas the Tank Engine projects is a compulsion that rivals serial killing.
