Bad examples

It's a shame when people who are out in the public eye speaking against vices like drunk driving and drug use succumb to the very thing they claim they are trying to stop. A Cincinnati police officer who recently received an award from Mothers Against Drunk Driving is behind bars at the Dearborn County jail this morning on drunken driving charges, county officials said.

Hall of Famer Orlando Cepeda was arrested after a California Highway Patrol officer pulled him over for speeding and found drugs in the car. Cepeda works for the Giants as a community liaison and speaks to at-risk children about the dangers of drugs and alcohol.
