Fred Thompson

Yesterday, I heard an interview with Fred Thompson. While I'm indifferent to him as a presidential candidate, I do think he's one of the few politicians that "get it".

When asked about Ronald Reagan's communication skills he said (roughly quoting)

"People think Ronald Reagan was a great communicator because of his acting background. I think he was a great communicator because he was believable and he was believable because he believed"

That one hit's it out of the park.
