In a case of political correctness running wild, serving a ham sandwich around a Muslim is currently being called a "hate crime" in one school.
The latest incident of “Muslim outrage” involves a middle-school student purportedly placing a ham sandwich wrapped in a baggie on a lunch table where Somali Muslim students sit. One 14 year-old unnamed Somali student is reported to have said: “At the school the next day, I didn’t feel safe. I felt like everybody was against me. Before I felt like I fit in, and everything was normal.” The ham-placing “offending student” has been suspended, the Maine middle school is calling the placing of the ham sandwich a “hate crime” and the local police are investigating the child. More charges against the child may be forthcoming.

Maine has a huge problem with Somali immigrants. This region of Maine decided it was going to be a global player and begin to sponsor Somalis. Well one family came, and then another and everything was hunky dory. Then the Somalis started sponsoring their “family,” for a small fee, and before you knew it this region of Maine was being flooded with Somalis. Well now all the Mainiacs are upset because the Somalis are a huge burden on the local social services. So it looks like the anger is rubbing off on their children. Oh and guess what, Somalis are still migrating to Maine because it seems that every Somali has the same last name. American immigration; you have to love it.
