The New York Times, the world's leader in pacifism hails the nuclear agreement between the US and North Korea solved "diplomatically".
I guess the NY Times seems to forget that we've been down this path before with North Korea. You know the deal brokered by Jimmy Carter where we gave Pyongyang all that equipment for nuclear power and they just kept building their nukes.
Despite what a state department official will tell you, treaties aren't worth the paper they are written on. A treaty is only worth the lengths either party will due to enforce it. And if we let people like Jimmy Carter and the NY Times editors do the enforcing, we'll have nukes fired at San Francisco in about five years.
