Ripping off the poor

The federal government is currently looking to cap interest rates paycheck loan operations can charge people for their services at 36%.

Presumably, the feds don't like the fact that private businesses rip off poor people by charging them usurious interest rates.

That's a great idea. I don't like poor people being ripped off by unscrupulous businesses. As a result, I have another one you can go after. Let's go after the Ohio Lottery which pays off barely half the proceeds it takes in.

I was in line today at a convenience store, a woman, who obviously had very little in terms of assets, was in front of me buying $25 worth of scratch off lottery tickets. After she won all of $5.00, she turned the ticket in to buy...... class.......... class.........class. Another $5.00 of lottery tickets.

The moral to the story..........

It's OK to rip off the poor as long as you use it for the "children".

No. Wait. That's not it. The moral to the story is.... It's OK to rip off the poor when it's the government ripping them off.

you know it's the beginning of the month. She was probably using welfare money to buy those tickets.

our country just is not being fair to one another. Good thing with the ciggarette upgrade. No one should be ripping eachother off. Dont we vote the the president by if we like him/her? If they dont rip us off...
