The City of Cincinnati has issued a statement in response to complaints from the public about them showing the OSU-Purdue game on the Fountain Square jumbotron instead of the UC-Rutgers game Sat night.
The Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation (3CDC) manages Fountain Square and operates and determines the programming for the LED Board. Steve Leeper, the director of 3CDC agrees that they should have played the U.C. game. It was an oversight on their part. They promise that they will give U.C. the priority in the future.
