Why the music business sucks
If you ever wanted to know why the music business is in such disarray, you could guess music downloads on the internet.
But if you guess, because studios are blowing $120,000,000 on Madonna, you're probably in a better ball park.
I watched Madonna during the Live Earth show and it was clear to me that she's washed up. But apparently not washed up enough to squeeze $120,000,000 out of Live Nation for her next three albums.
That $120,000,000 would go a long way in identifying, developing and promoting new talent. Instead it's wasted on a washed up skank.
What's going to happen when Keith Richards realizes he's dead and the Stones can't put out another album?
