I have to thank the intellectual elite for this one. I never celebrated Columbus Day. As a holiday, it never had much meaning to me until a bunch of intellectual elites had it mean that everything related to European expansion was bad.
So happy Columbus Day, I think I'll celebrate by enjoying a big glass of wine in my palatial estate that was built reminiscent of European expansion... although today they call it urban sprawl.
