Mayor Mark Mallory on Sunday called for an end to the kind of violence that left two people dead the night before.
"Two young men losing their lives to gun violence in one night is absurd," Mallory said.Cincinnati police officers found Uriah Ware Jr., 17, shot dead at 11:53 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the former National Guard Armory at 4100 Reading Road in Paddock Hills.
"Uriah Ware was hit by a stray bullet at a birthday party," Mallory said. "Parents should not have to worry about their child's safety at a birthday party."
Mr. Mayor, you are correct. You shouldn't have to worry about stray bullets at a birthday party and out here in "Redville" we don't.
